The app appears on the event Apps page through 11:59 PM Pacific on August 13 and can enter Community Choice. Showing your participant name is optional; team names are shown.
The app can be shared publicly and enters Community Choice. Public sharing includes participant attribution, and team names are shown.
Do not submit confidential, proprietary, patent-sensitive, or third-party material you are not authorized to use. Ideas and prompts submitted here are not treated as confidential.
The generated app is not commissioned work or work made for hire. Submitting does not give you exclusive ownership or control of its generated code or app.
MongoDB may use and modify submissions and generated apps to operate and demonstrate the Build Lab, subject to the chosen visibility. MongoDB or others may build, use, or demonstrate similar ideas.
Each email address can vote for up to three different apps during the event.
A vote counts only after you open its confirmation link.
We use the address only to confirm the vote and enforce the limit. After confirmation or expiry, the pending vote keeps only a private one-way code, never a public email address.
There are three app prizes: top team, top individual, and top Community Choice. From the Top 10 on the AI-rated leaderboard, human judges select the top team and top individual. The eligible, most-upvoted Community Choice app wins the community prize.
